Hair Care: L'Oreal Elseve Smooth Intense Nutri-Smoothing Mask

Remember this post? So you think I religiously did it, huh? Sorry I didn't coz I should have finished that one (1) tub in 3-4 months only but hey, I'm just about to finish my tub only this month hehehe. One (1) more used then I'm done with the tub. Yes, and I'm feeling guilty of not taking special care to my hair. I am lazy dog!

I bought a new L'Oreal Elseve Smooth Intense Nutri-Smoothing Mask. Do you know how much is it now? It is only PhP250.00 compared to my last purchased which is PhP375.00. Good buy eh?

I saved PhP125.00. Yey!
I asked the SA (Sales Assistant) why it is cheaper now, she just said it is because they changed the packaging. Lols! Is she pulling my leg? What a nice answer eh? It's like asking her name and answered she's 21 years old hehehe. Anyway, sometimes it pays if you tried it yourself the product na lang. I'm just confused what the sudden drop of the price is and I can't avoid thinking if it is the same content of the tub. I've checked the ingredients, labels, etc. and nothing changed though. It is only the packaging.

Left: New packaging. Right: Old packaging.
This is to compare the old packaging to the new one. You should notice that the color of the new packaging is darker. Plus, the Anti-Frizz Mask was changed to Nutri-Smoothing Mask. It has the same job though.

I really love the scent.

Yey! I realized that my hair grown long unnoticeable. Uh-oh, L'Oreal has nothing to do if my hair grows fast or slow, lols! I must say how L'Oreal works on my hair.

Likes:
o It has heaven scent.
o Does its job really well.
o Got results in just first application.
o Really has smooth hair after it dries.
o Hair smoothness lasted in one (1) week.

Dislikes:
o It makes my scalp itchy in the 1st and 2nd day after wash.
o It caused me dandruff from 1st to 2nd day after wash.
o My hair feels heavy in the 1st day after wash.

Verdict:
o I love it. I can stand with the itch. It just occurs very seldom in a day though. I will not get tired of using this product.

How about you? Are you doing also a Do-It-Yourself (DIY) treatment to your hair at home? By the way, I used it once a week but sometimes once in every 2 weeks. Depends if I'm not getting lazy hehehe. It is applied like a conditioner. After shampooing and rinsing your hair, squeeze out the water excess from your hair or you can dampen it with a towel then applied an ample amount. Leave it for 2-3 minutes as instructed in the tub but what I always do is leaving it for 10 minutes hehehe, then rinse off. Well, nothing harm happened to my hair though.

Smile always and stay tuned.

Get Bonded With Your Family This Weekend

After hoarding a few NIKE pieces from the Clearance Sale in Mega Trade Hall (5th floor Megamall), I and hubby headed to Eastwood City. My hub's family has been waiting for us there to spend the afternoon with them. Honestly, we always went to Libis but we haven't had a chance to take a peek of how's the Eastwood Cyberzone looked now. It's been ages since I last saw this "concrete jungle", lols! Yes, I defined it as "concrete jungle" because Eastwood is only a 16-hectare property that full of residential, commercial, business and entertainment development. So, imagine how crowded it is.

When I was still working with a Korean Real Estate company, I used to go there for viewing of condominiums both for rent and for sale. That was 2004-2007 and a lot of high rise towers were being constructed that time. Then, the last time I've been inside the Eastwood City again was last year and I noticed before the very big area that was being fenced. I have no idea about it and only yesterday that I knew that it was a four (4) residential towers connecting to a Mall which is the Eastwood Mall.

Moving on, we parked at the 1st basement of the Eastwood Mall. I really don't like their parking area; it was really confusing. Then, we headed to Cafe Via Mare where my in-laws were waiting for us. We had chit-chat a bit while eating our merienda.

Hub's family
Yes, it was dancing with the music's beat.
Jai Ho was playing on this.
The Bridge
The Mall
The Eastwood Mall
The other side of the Eastwood Mall
The Coffee Bean got a really nice location here, huh.
A shot taken from the bridge.
That small stage they are preparing is for Basil Valdez mini-concert.
Strike a pose!
Before we headed home, we ate again at McDonalds inside the Eastwood Mall.
Then, we went down and watch the fountain show. They said that every after 30 minutes, music will be played and the fountain dance along with the beat. Oh, then it's a must-see hehehe. We waited for it. We sat by on the benches just right outside the mall. Then, the show begun after a couple of minutes.

It was fun listening with the music but the exhibition of the fountain was not spectacular, okay? Hehehe... Anyway, this place is good for hanging out with the family. They made this place like the style of Trinoma, Greenbelt and Bonifacio High Streets.

These styles are adopted from International. It's good to know that they are making these mall styles because it's a family, granny and kiddie friendly environment. I belong to the kiddie. Lols! By the way, the place is just very small compared to Trinoma and Greenbelt. I still go for Bonifacio High Streets.

By the way, when we are on our way to Eastwood, I checked our NIKE pieces and found out that one (1) pair of sock was missing. I've checked our receipt thoroughly and it confirmed that it was punched by the cashier. We suspected that the bagger might have forgotten to put it inside the plastic bag or maybe it fell that we didn't notice. But when we're at the Cafe Via Mare, I've confirmed that we lost it because of the photo I took with hubby holding the shopping bag. It is clearly that it wasn't the bagger's fault but us. Sayang hehehe! Okay, that's it for now. How about you? Have you started yet your long weekend?

Smile always and stay tuned.

Face It: Look Naturally Beautiful With Neutrals by Maybelline + Ystila + Nyx

Look Naturally BEAUTIFUL with Neutrals!

Today, I will share to you an FOTD I did last weekend. Using neutral colors resulted to a natural, bright make up that would be perfect to wear during daytime. Honestly, doing a natural, bright make-up would sometimes give me difficulties to have a nice result after. Lols! I'd rather do a Smokey eye make-up coz I find it easier to do since you can just put 1 or 2 dark eye shadows and blend it away, and then you're done hehehe.

Okay, so today, I really tried hard to make a tutorial for a natural, bright make up for my friend's request. She said she will try my FOTD for her every day's work. Remember, you just need neutral colors of eye shadow for this.

Here's what I used in this tutorial:

Apply Etude House BB Magic Cream onto face and neck;
Set your face with Natural Rice Oil Absorbing Powder
(It will set accordingly to your skin color after a minute).
Define your brows. I'm using Maybelline Studio Eye Definist.
Apply NYX Eye Shadow Base prior to eye shadow application.
Using my Maybelline Expertwear Trio, I picked the lightest shade and apply it to my entire lid up to the brow bone.
Then, I picked the medium brown shade and apply it from outer part of my lid up to my eye socket. Do gentle strokes inward.
I picked the darkest shade in the Trio and make my outer-V. Feather inwards.
Note: I added more shade to make my outer-V darker.
Line your upper lash line using IN2IT Liquid Eye Liner. You can make one (1) thin line but then, I opted to make it looking thicker, so I made it a 2 winged line. It's your choice anyway.
Curl your lashes. Apply 2 coats of IN2IT mascara.
Brighten your eyes more using an Ystila eye shadow.
Apply it thinly in the corner of your eyes to make your eyes pop.
I am using Bobbi Brown blusher in Pink Clay.
Line your lips with NYX lip liner in Rose.

You're done!

It's just so easy, right? This FOTD made me used my Maybelline Expertwear that has been in my drawers for ages now, lols! I accidentally broke the closing tap of it and so I just keep it then. Hahaha good thing I made this tutorial, I happened to see and realized some of the shades that are much worth to try for.

Here are some of the takes.

Okay. I hope this tut (tutorial) helps and you enjoyed reading. More upcoming make-up tuts to post.

Smile always and stay tuned.
