Everybody Loves Cowgirls and Cocktails!

The Little Black Dress Club recently hosted it’s first Multi-Chapter event! LBDC members from Columbus and Louisville packed their bags and hit the road for a weekend trip to Nashville. Car rides were full of lively conversation, the latest and greatest celebrity gossip and lots of road trip approved snacks such as peach gummy rings, trail mix and hot fries!

Columbus started their weekend with the Kentucky Bourbon Festival and Jim Beam Distillery and then made their way to our town where they met up with
our Louisville and Nashville members. Our LBDC Nashville hostesses designed a fun itinerary that included some of the most well known hot spots in the downtown area. Stops included Coyote Ugly, The Wildhorse Saloon, Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge and the Paradise Park Trailer Resort!

Saturday night started off with a group dinner at the Old Spaghetti Factory. Conversations and laughter could be heard throughout as our ladies got to know each other and shared stories of their road trip. Some of the favorite stops of the night were The Stage, Legends and Honky Tonk - some of Nashville’s finest right there! Both the Columbus and Louisville chapter members commented on the southern hospitality that Nashville is known for.

As the weekend came to a close, the Columbus ladies headed back home but not before stopping to tour Mammoth Cave on their way. Our Louisville members could not pass up the opportunity to shop till they dropped before heading home!

One of the best weekends in LBDC history, all the ladies had a great time. So much so, that “LBDC Road Trip Part Deux” is already in the works! This November my fellow Nashville ladies and I will pack our bags and hit the road to Louisville. Picking up Cincinnati, Clarksville and Birmingham members on our way, we have a weekend full of fun events planned! Starting with a B.I.N.G.O game and tour of a local whiskey distillery, we will end the night with a great dinner with our Louisville members. Sunday morning will bring delicious brunch followed by an underground boat tour! Become an official LBDC member now, and then RSVP for this awesome road trip. It won’t be the same without ya!

Coco Fennell

Baby You Can Drive my Car shirt - Coco Fennell* / Disco pants - American Apparel / Shoes - Zara / Clutch - Lollipops Paris

Not going to lie I just wrote basically a page about how much I'm in love with Coco Fennell's collection (and her) but I think it got borderline creepy so I started again haha.

While I was away I received a beautiful pink parcel from Coco Fennell and in that parcel was this amazing shirt! You have no idea how much I love it. The cut is perfect, the fabric and material is perfect, it's all the things I love in one. I've been a huge fan of Coco Fennell for years, ever since I saw her mentioned on beautycrush's twitter at the beginning of last year, i've been hooked! I'm pretty sure Coco is some sort of super woman as she does more or less everything herself and I definitely reckon she needs more recognition.

Coco Fennell's style is a mix of all my favourite eras, from 40s-70s with a edgy twist. Every single item is unique and she does them in small cuts so it's less likely you'll rock up to a party and 5 of you are wearing the same dress!

As soon as my money goes into my account I will be buying two more dresses of hers and i've also given everyone my christmas list so far and it concists of Coco Fennell's new collection items...as you can tell I have become addicted. I was so excited when I saw this had arrived and put it on straight away - and to quote my dad "That's the nicest thing i've seen you wear" - cheers dad. I was so unbelieveably grateful to receive this shirt, it's absolutely perfect  and I know my wardrobe may end up just being Coco everything.

I hope everyone is doing well! Sorry I haven't posted in a while, I was away and stayed longer because of the pooey rain!

Trending : Studded Gloves

When I saw Burberry Prorsum FW 2012 Collection, the first thing I fell for were gorgeous semi-long studded gloves! Statement making piece that will give your every outfit a final rock-glam touch. Soon after I discovered more inspirational pieces as Phillip Lim's (worn by Kim Kardashian & Beyonce on pictures bellow).

If you are not among those who can afford $500 to have Burberry, you can recycle some of your old leather gloves with home-made studs (DIY tutorial soon).

A Style To Admire: Christine Centenera

Christine Centenera, Australian Harper's Bazaar fashion editor, is also a celebrity stylist, street style icon and a great fashion mind behind Kanye West's new clothing line. This pretty Aussie has it all: a job millions would kill for, amazing style and the enviable collection of shoes. Often dressed in Hermes, Burberry, Celine and the rest of high class brand names, but at the same time wearing them in her own uncopiable way with a futuristic touch, she leaves us speechless with every appearance.

Phoebe Philo for Celine jacket, Louis Vuitton scarf and Hermes Rivale bracelet

She is unfairly put on the sidelines of fashion scene while much less stylish people dictate what's in & what's out.
This outfit made her world-famous
Christine often wears her boyfriend Josh Goot's designs

Christine is not intimidated by matching oversized clothes with statement shoes. It's the opposite - she is in the minority of people who can pull it off! We can often see her in bold outfits: strong shoulder blazers, baroque style, peplum, lace... Controversal see-through fabrics actually look expensive on her which is, you'll agree, a characteristic of perfect style and also a reason to admire her even more.

Balmain strong shoulder blazer + simple denim shorts = perfection!

No one wears Celine pajama pants like this girl!

Passion Red Lips - How To Get Perfect Look

Follow few easy steps and you will have Hollywood Diva look

For extra volume effect put transparent lipgloss over.
*Make sure you remove extra color on inside the lips otherwise it can go on your teeth and ruin perfect smile. If you are new in wearing it, keep a pocket mirror near you and check from time to time there's no color on your front teeth ;)
Ultimate color - Rouge Dior #999 which I personally use & recommend to everyone.
I combine my CD #999 with nailpolish Dior #999

Also try Dolce Gabbana in Ruby or Devil color

and YSL rouge pur couture #20

Tutorial Tuesday

Warning! Please excuse my dancing/singing and my concentration faces. Didn't even realise Until I had finished filming!
A few of you lovely ladies said yes for me to do a tutorial on the hair from my Lashes of London post. So here it is! It's so so easy and once you've got the hang of it, it'll take about 3 minutes max. You can do this style on most hair lengths but obviously the rolls will vary in size. All you will need is some bobby pins and that's it! So lets get going with the instructions..

1. Make sure all your hair is over to one side, like a sexy comb-over. You can use a few bobby-pins to help secure the hair at the back in place.

2. Start at the front of your hair and grab a section any size you want. (if you have a fringe/bangs that is where you'll start instead). Using your first two fingers on both hands, wrap your hair around them going upwards and inwards rather than under and inwards.
3. Secure the roll with a few bobby-pins. It's best to have clips matching your hair colour. I used darker ones so you can see better!

4. Now grab a new section right next to the previous victory roll and do exactly the same as you did in number 3! - After that continue grabbing new bits of hair until you've got rolls going round all on one side. Ta-da you are done, it's that easy!
