Nail Art Addiction

Since I am still on hype about my newly bought L.A. Colors nail polishes, I went GaGa over doing nail arts up to this moment. Since yesterday, I've been making a lot of nail art designs to my nails.

Warning: Pictures ahead!

I like this color because it’s like a natural color of my nails when applied. I used it as base coat before the French tip. You can make a tiny French tip if you want using the tiny nail brush pen of Art Deco. You can stop here...

... but then I went further so I created a flower.

Here, I used the L.A. Art Deco:
  • first, put 5 dots to make a flower using White Art Deco
  • second, put 1 dot in the center of the flower using Pink Art Deco
  • lastly, apply over the whole flower using Gold glitter Art Deco
Haha... Look at my toes. May naiba ba?

And next, I erased again the nail art and tried other design.

Here, I used Art Deco in Purple. I just make a big dot then, 3 tiny dots to create a little animal foot print.

Oh, kind of messy. I need more practice.

I am so excited with my new nail art tools. This is very different from my Stamping Nail Art by KONAD because using the Art Deco with such tiny brush is really a work of art. Using nail art brushes is really, really fun. I can make any designs that I want. I admit, this is much fun compared to Stamping Nail Art BUT it's NOT EASY to do though. You should get a lot of practice first. That's why, see the nail arts I've done? So so basic. Hehehe

I hope you enjoyed reading about my nail art addiction.

Haul: Another Sort of Hoarding

Hey guys! Last Thursday, I and hubs went hoarding.

When we went to Market!Market! Fort Bonifacio, I dropped in their beauty section in the ground floor department store just to see what's new. But you know what I've discovered? L.A. Colors is now available locally! Yes, you've read it right. You can now buy L.A. Colors in the ground floor department store of Market!Market! Yipee!!

But am not into their make-ups, a-ah. I've drooled into L.A. Colors Art Deco and nail polishes. I can't believe. My eyes were like the eyes of the tarsier I think when I was picking the Art Decos and polishes that I wanted. Ohhh, I want them all, all the colors! I wish I can have them all that time.

Well, maybe you're wondering what made me so "O.A." (over acting) was that these products were clicks away from the website of CherryCulture.com. Yes darling, you can buy these products through online shopping straight from the U.S. So, there, now I hope you understand what I am drooling about these product most especially the nail polishes. Awww! I love you L.A.Colors!

I have tried ordering make-ups from U.S. but the custom duties and taxes sucks! I usually choose shipping method through FedEx Int'l. Economy (with tracking) because my items reached to me right at my doorstep, intact, sealed and my items are SAFE from the "crocodiles". I never tried post office as I've read tons of negative comments when you claim your items from them. Oookay, so much for that.

Well, I stopped ordering make-ups from U.S. because I think I've had enough already. Yeah, its true and fun... clicking the "Add to Cart" button and the "Checkout" button 'coz the items are cheap but the shipping cost is expensive, I swear... plus the custom duties and local taxes...ugh! So, it’s just like you shop the items 30-40% cheaper than buying it from a local reseller.

Okay, so back to the things I am drooling about. Here it is, presenting....

the L.A. Colors nail polishes

the L.A. Colors Art Deco (with thin brushes)

Plus, I couldn't resist not buying these nail polishes from Elianto. Oh, I really love glittery colors.

Elianto nail polish

I love the colors, so so so much! I can't wait to use it. So, I thought I'm already done with my L.A. Colors hoarding but I was not. When hubs went to NIKE store, my eyes almost pop-out when I saw these super cutie sun visors. A-ah, not just a cutie visor but I can use this as nice accessory as well. I call these as my Fashion Sun Visors. Why? Look at these photos below.

I love this because it has a soft-foamed-like peak. The sweat band is quite wider and the closure is garterized. I can also style the sweat band as wide or thin head band as well. So stylish!

This one really looks fab. I love the purple color! The sweat band is same size up to the back, stretchable and can style as head band, too. Plus, it’s super soft. The white and the purple visor are my faves for summer wearing and shopping, etc.

This is my fave of all Fashion Sun Visors I bought from NIKE. The sweat band is cotton twill, the closure is garterized and adjustable, and the peak's circumference?.... wow! Its 10-inches! That's why this is my fave because it protects my whole face and front neck as well from the direct heat of the sun. You're just looking at the evidence now. See? Hehehe. Honestly, this is perfect for tour and sightseeing or any activities that will require you to go under the heat of the sun.

Of course, these wristbands poignets are a steal, too. So cute!

So, that's it for now. I hope I didn't bore you of the tons of pictures posted. Hehe.. I am so excited to use my new nail polishes and do nail art. I will post soon my work of art.

Decorate Your Nails with KONAD Stamping Nail Art

I got a lot of nice comments about my nails. They asked me where and how much did I pay for my nail art. I just say: "I just did it myself". They don't believe hahaha. So, I want to share with you on how did I achieved a Salon-looking nails without costing too much money for a beautiful, kikay nails. It’s fun and easy to do. I bought a Stamping Nail Art by KONAD, it’s a Korean product. This Stamping Nail Art Kit lets you decorate your nails easily. I bought the basic kit for Php530.00 only that includes Special nail polish (5ml), Image plate, Stamper & Scraper. You can buy it on Shopwise Cubao, KONAD have a booth there.

Basic Kit

What's inside? Stamper, Special nail polish, Scraper & Image plate.

I want to share with you a tutorial on how I achieved the nail art which I named French & Flowers. So here it is:

Please be noted that I made this nail art six (6) days ago, and I just put top coat again after 3 days to refresh the shine and to make the nail art last longer.

1.) Apply a base coat ( I used Caress frosted in Shower Party) to nails or any nail polish of your choice. Apply 2 coats. Let it dry.

2.) Make a French tip using the Elianto polish in Extremely Black (or any Black nail polish of your choice). Let it dry.

3.) Apply Konad Special nail polish to desired image on a Plate.

4.) Scrape it across Plate with the Scraper to remove excess Polish.

5.) QUICKLY, press the Stamper onto the Plate to pick up the design.

6.) Stamp the image onto your nail with a gentle rolling motion, or just press down.

7.) For lasting wear, apply a top coat as quickly and slightly just once dividing into 2 or 3 parts. Do not dab or repeat.

So, there you go. Isn't it so easy and fun to do? I hope this tutorial helps you. Though, there are directions already in the kit. Guys, I'd love to hear from you soon.

The ETUDE HOUSE Magic BB Cream

Finally, I bought a Magic BB Cream. After reading a lot of reviews, I've decided to give it a try.

Etude House BB Magic Cream in Refreshing.

I bought this BB cream from Etude House. The Etude House store is located at the SM Megamall Building A, Upper Ground Floor near the Toy Kingdom. For the price of Php598.00, hey, for me it's worth it! This is the cheapest BB cream I know compared to some BB creams that will cost you of up to Php1, 200.00. Well, maybe you'll ask what are the uses and functions of this cream but I won't go answering for it 'coz I think it’s better to just share to you my personal experience in using this BB cream instead.

Note that my type of skin is oily and I have a medium fair complexion before but now, I get a lot of tan as we hit the beach 2 weeks ago. Okay, so here it is:

The Etude BB cream comes in a tube pump. Just one pump and it releases the amount enough to apply for the face and neck. I dot it in my face (forehead, nose, under eyes area, cheeks & chin) and neck. Then, I used my finger in blending it onto my skin. After I applied it evenly, my face is too whitish. Yes, I know that it will turn it that way because based on the reviews; it will take minutes before it will adjust accordingly depending onto your skin colour. But hey, look how it sets on my skin, some of my pimple scars and blemishes were all covered. It really does a nice coverage! Haha... Really a"goodbye-trouble" magic cream, huh?!?

(Photo taken after 2.5 hours, no retouch yet.)

After the BB cream adjusted on my skin colour, I set it with my favourite setting powder - Natural Rice Oil-Absorbing Rice Powder in Natural RP06. After 2.5 hours, it does a dewy-finish look which I really like hehe. For me, its looks sexy especially in photos. It doesn't have greasy feel either. It's light-weight, too.

And oh, what I like also about using this is I can skip putting on my moisturizer and foundation so it really save me time in preparing myself especially when I'm on a hurry for appointment. This cream serves as my moisturizer and my foundation in one, so its like 2-in-1. Hehe..

I love this BB cream.

It's Happy Saturday!

Yesterday, I & hubs went to Caloocan to visit my niece Pamela. My niece received a 2nd honor award and she's on the top 9 of the 6th grade in their school. I am so proud of her!

After that, we headed to Anne & Sean's apartment to join them again for a night swimming at the penthouse. This time, with Rhen & Yesha . This was the 2nd time we had night swimming at their apartment. Again, it was fun!  We're so full that night. Rhen bought a one (1) bilao of palabok which was really delicious (actually, I had a take home of that!) Thanks Rhen! The Molo soup is great and the pork chop is so tasty! Thanks Anne & Sean!

Till next time.

It's Hair Care Time with L'OREAL

I got my hair treated in a salon a week before my hubby's sister's wedding (March 25). I'm so happy with the result. I got a very smooth and shiny hair. I paid P699.00 for the treatment. But my lovely hair lost the applied treatment and lost the hair moisture & shine when we hit the beach for 5 days in Puerto Galera last March 28- April 1.

I noticed that since we got home from the beach, my hair is very dry now and frizzy. Yeah, the beach really damaged my hair. If I will get this treated in a salon, it will cost me much again. So, I went to Watson's and checked out on their hair treatments. I've seen this L’Oreal Elseve Smooth Intense Anti-Frizz Mask.

In the label, it’s indicated that it treats dry, frizzy and rebellious hair. I compared other hair treatments that are inexpensive over L’Oreal but I end up buying L’Oreal. Anyway, it's the brand, no question for that. Let's see!

P375.00 - 200 ml. This product is promising to calm, nourish and smooth-en your hair.

I'm so excited to use it and so, I get showered when I got home. After shampooing my hair and squeezed out the excess water and dampened my hair a little, I scooped an ample amount (as seen on the photo) using a spatula from the tub, pressed my both palms to scattered it, then applied it to my hair just like an ordinary conditioner. Massage it to my scalp gently. I put on more amounts to the tips of my hair. I leaved it on for 2 minutes and rinsed it. My hair is so soft and I really love touching it while rinsing. The scent? Oh, I love it!
I dried up my hair in front of the electric fan using a comb. Wow! I'm so happy with the result. My hair is not dry anymore! Yeah, I got results on my first time of using. See my photos below:

with flash                       without flash

Hahaha... I don't know why my hair in the first photo looks brownish maybe because of the flash. My hubs said my hair get shiny and very smooth. Yay! He loves touching it, too! I will use this once a week and will give updates and results after a month.

Louboutin love

Apoi zboara inapoi la New York. Sunt putin dezamagit ca nu mai ramane nimic in magazin si pleaca cu 80 de perechi. E super."
Fetisul/pasiunea/obsesia pentru Louboutins au costat-o pe Danielle mai bine de 2 milioane de dolari.

O alta diva fana Louboutin este Jennifer Lopez, care si-a numit cel mai recent single "Louboutins"
