OOTD: My Go-To Outfit

Ohh I miss outfit posts! It's been long time since I posted one and I'm sorry because I owe you big time for that lovelies. No, I'm just making lame reasons. Haha! Okay, I just want to share my outfit some weeks ago when we watched basketball game in SMART Araneta.

I am fond of wearing shorts. Though my legs aren't wow, I don't mind flaunting it. Lol! Wearing shorts makes me move comfortably and move for all I care without the fear of some peek-a-boos. Shorts are always my savior when anxiety attacks and when I think I do not have anymore clothes to wear but fact is, there are tons inside my closet. Lol.

My outfit's color screams summer. A pastel blue and yellow. I score these pieces half of the original price one Friday from SM Dept. Store. I'm a sucker of anything red tags, so I looked for my size and headed to the fitting room. Both pieces perfectly fit me right. I wanted to get another shorts in Orange color but unfortunately, sizes were broken since it's already on sale.

Have you read my post: Fashion 101 Identify The Colors? Can you guess what color scheme I pulled here? It's Triadic color scheme. Though my top is Pastel Blue, it still goes along with the 2 primary colors which is the Red & Yellow. The color Yellow stands out. Click here for further information about color schemes.

On my nails, Caronia's Summer "Expressions" Collection in Blue Chill & Fresh Mint (review here.)

I don't know about you but whenever I buy clothes, I always see to it that I can wear it not limited to one occasion only. Like this buttoned-down shirt, I actually worn this going to work, meeting clients and it's perfect for casual days, too. Oh I'm the type that will wear favorites until it's overused.

The belt (it's dark brown) actually came together with the shirt.

I love the fabric of this walk shorts because it's a bit stretchable which add more comfort when I move.

Ever since this bracelet came in the mail, it's been my favorite accessory. This is a gift from one of my sponsors, Clothingloves.com. Lovely!

By the way, most of the pictures in this post are bit grainy because my husband just used iPhone 5 in taking these shots except picture of the bracelet alone and the one above it. Looks pretty good shots eh. Okay, I will leave you with some pa-cutesy pose.

Care to share what's your go-to outfit?

I am that lady in white...

Last week, I and hubby went to Makati City to pay-off the balance of one of our possessions. Nothing feels good when you paid-off one obligation, agree? Anyway, since I expected that we will be signing a contract, I made sure I catch all the confidence that God poured on earth that day. Haha! I went for a very tidy look - an all white outfit.

We can actually park our car in the building where we went to but we opted to park at Jaime Velasquez Park in Salcedo Village. It was weekday and that explains why there's only few people hanging out in the park. I saw some young couples on the benches and very few children with their cute dogs and yayas. Who wouldn't love to do an outfit shot with less distractions? Everything seemed to go accordingly with the plan; we did an outfit shot after the signing.

This Chanel bag is actually a gift from my hubby last 2007. When I got home from work, I saw this bag sitting right in the middle of our bed. He said his Korean boss (but he's not working there anymore) had a garage sale and he was surprised when this bag was handed to him. His boss liked him to buy it instead at such a very low price and of course, my hubby didn't think twice and grab it. Not to mention he can pay it for anytime he wants. Just so lucky! I already met his boss though and I know they are very fond of us. Dapat nga libre na lang eh. Ayy abuso? Lol!

This open-toed shoe is very comfortable I swear. Read my KEDS review here for a better details of this shoe.

This collar necklace is worn at last! After buying this from a random store in St. Francis Square for over 2 months, I've finally worn it. I don't know if it's just me but most of the accessories I bought waited a while before I decide to wear them.

This bracelet was a gift from my sister. I think it goes along perfectly with the rest of the outfit.

White speaks simplicity. So, I keep my make-up simple, too. I did my brows, lined my upper lash line, darken my outer-V a little bit to make my eyes appear larger, loads of mascara and red lipstick. FYI, no blush-on.

What do you think? Is this all-white outfit a thumbs up or down? Drop a comment.

Look of the Day: A hint of Tangerine

Hey guys! One fine Sunday, I and hubby spent our afternoon in Fort Bonifacio. This time, we spent most of our time walking down along the clean streets of Global City. Since it was weekend and there were no many people around the streets (except in Bonifacio High Streets); we thought of a quick photo shoot.

This is what I wore.

The color of the 2012 is Tangerine; an orange. This color is seductive and dramatic. I was happy to know that I already have a tangerine purse (circa 2010); it means I am in! Yey!

My black top is actually a top with so many styles. I can style it in 4 ways.

To play safe with my tangerine bag, I opted to wear a basic solid color for my top & bottom. I was afraid to wear something with some bright colors because I don't want to end up looking like a clown. I added a thin orange belt to match my purse.

I paired it with a black wedge shoes.

Accessories

One of the things that hubby learned in photography is how to hide woman's flaws during the photo shoot. Let's admit it; we really hate it when our arms and tummy looked big in the photos. My very first and main flaw is my big arm; he directed me all what to do to make it look slimmer.

That's it. Until my next post.

My wedge shoes from Keds!

I'm still a Keds at heart!

Yay! I used again the same term from my old post. Yeap, I'm fond of wearing K-e-d-s. This time I got a wedge shoes.

Do you know that I always have a hard time looking for a perfect shoe? I am the type that not easily pleases when it comes to shoe designs. I am into comfort first then the design and other details would follow. I want it sturdy, of course. And speaking of that, let's admit that quality has a price indeed. Just like Keds shoes.

Honestly, I can't afford to buy Keds in regular price because I find it really steep. That's why when there's a clearance sale of Keds, I will never go home empty-handed. I love wedges and I was ecstatic when I finally got my first Keds wedge in color black some months ago which I bought from Eastwood Libis.

I also wanted the one in color white but unfortunately, there was no available size anymore. That is the disadvantage of clearance sale. You also have to deal with frustration when they said your size is not available anymore. Lol! But when we're in Cebu last October, I luckily found one in Sports Warehouse in The Walk at Asiatown Park.

o It is an open-toe shoe which is really a plus point for me because I like to expose my hard-work nail art.
o The vamp just fit right on my feet. It didn't hurt my big bunions.
o I also love the very comfy cushion-padded insoles. It doesn't rub on my sole roughly even though I've worn it for long hours already.
o The bow completes the girly appeal.

Very ideal for everyday casual wear because of its canvas design. It is 2.5 inches high but manageable for long wearing because it's not stiletto or cigarette heels. So sturdy!

The tiny orange dots in the heels and in the insoles' with the striking orange cushioned insoles give a nice contrast to whatever earth color outfit you may wear.

I love the counter of the shoe because it didn't cause me any blisters at all. It just fit me right. Yay!

And here is a closer look of it on my feet when worn.
Isn't it lovely?

I really find this wedge stylish and versatile. You can pair it with a denim shorts, mini-skirts and dresses. What do you think? I haven't gone to Eastwood Libis for months now and I don't know if they still have some Keds wedges left on sale. I will surely buy another color.
