Had gone for work in Basics...

Last week, I and hubby had a chance to take outfit shot after our appointment in Ortigas Center. I just want to share with you what I wore when I gone to work. I usually wear trousers when I was still working in a real estate company before but since I work now as a freelancer, I can wear any style as long as my outfit is not too sexy, not revealing and distracting or else I'll be dismissed. Haha. Trousers still have a room in my closet, of course. I wear it depending on the place and transaction I'm dealing.

I always wear basic or neutral colors when I work because obviously, it is not loud and not distracting. I do not wear skirts because I do a lot of walking from one building to another building when showing spaces to my clients. Sometimes, when I show a space in Ortigas, I still have to show spaces in Makati with the same client or another client. Can you imagine the pressure and stress? That's why I prefer trousers or pants than a skirt. I can move comfortably and carefree. The more comfortable you are with your outfit, the more confidence you get; thus, a better chance to close the deal.

By the way, I already found my perfect pair of jeans/ jeggings with UNIQLO. It has the best fabric and I swear it is the best denim I've ever owned. It looks like it is thick and heavy in the photo but in person, it's so soft when worn. The length is a bit long for me so I just fold about 2 inches inward.

The bags that I used for work are all large to extra-large of size. You have no idea what you can rummage inside my bag; a chaos of my personal and business stuffs.

I usually wear flat shoes but that day I wore my mid-heels close shoes to give emphasis to my jeggings. I think it made my legs looked slimmer. Also I do not wear open-toed or strappy sandals when I meet with my clients. It's just not right.

My top is unfitting and conservative in length, so a tiny belt is a solution.

I accessorize the outfit with a necklace. Since I'm all wearing basics, warm colors would surely pop, agree?

Actually, I just used the gold bracelet with charms when I gone to work. I just added another set and my DIY Macrame Bracelet for outfit shot purposes. I am so fond of wearing my creation. Have you tried creating one already?

I keep my make-up simple. I just lined my eyes, a Taupe eye shadow on my lids and apply mascara. Then, a blush, lipstick and a swipe of lip gloss. I just tied my hair for a tidy look.

What do you think?

Comfy Outfit in Ayala Triangle Gardens

Before 2012 ended, my hubby made sure we got to see the Christmas display in Ayala Triangle Gardens, Makati City because we weren't able to watch last 2011. It was one on his lists that he got to do - to take shots of the myriad Christmas lights. We parked our car at Greenbelt and just walked towards Ayala Triangle. It started to drizzle so we decided to drop by at Power MAC Centre in Greenbelt 3 and checked out the iPad Mini. I fell in love with it instantly. Sigh.

Don't you love how clear the front camera of iPad Mini is?

We arrived in Ayala Triangle at past 7:00 P.M. and it was just in time for another set of play. I was very excited. By the way, the Christmas display plays from 6:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M. every after 30 minutes. I think the tunes were played for at least 10-15 minutes. I noticed it was majorly sponsored by SMART Communications as I saw their "LIVE MORE" logos. Funny to think eh? Ayala owned Globe; SMART's rival Telco. Hmm.. Anyway, I was amazed by the show.

As I have said, my hubby is serious with his photography hobby. He can't keep his feet in just one spot, so we changed place now and then. Until we find a spot which we both agreed to stay because from there, it was best to take panoramic shots. The rain poured a little but that didn't stop the show. Of course, I don't have to ask my hubby because he knows what to do. In between his "busy mode", he didn't forget to take outfit shot for me even though I told him I'm not in the mood to do some.

Donut Bun: Jenniya find
Watch: Guess
Sweater with hood: Vintage
Denim shorts: NEXT Jeans (circa 2009)
Shoes: NIKE (circa 2010)

The Christmas lights danced with every Christmas tune being played. It was very wonderful to look at. It was amazing to see the LED lights draping on the tree branches. No wonder a lot of people is patronizing this show. The garden is crowded by families with kids, young pairs, and oldies, too. We stayed and watch 3 sets of play again and again until it was finished at 9:00 P.M. It was a worth visit we've spent for that night.

Note: The show ran from November 2012 (I don't know the exact date) and it ended last December 30, 2012.

OOTD: Sun and Earth...

I am back. After neglecting this blog for almost 6 months, I got motivated by my hubby to revive this blog. It's been ages and realization hit me that I really cannot just leave blogging. It's been my way of documenting my addiction to make-up and stuffs. Oh, before I go on with this post, I hope everyone had a joyous Christmas.

My hubby said that he's in the mood to take more challenging shots. Of course, I am always there to support his hobby as he is to my addiction. I gladly agree that we should do it on holiday. The thinking of another outfit shot somewhere never fail to give me joy. A few days back, we headed North to spend the holiday with my family. Before Christmas Eve, we scanned for a place to do the practice shooting near my Mom's house.

We chose to do it in this big vacant lot but with piles of gravel, soil and clefts of rock. There was an ongoing construction of Robinsons Store from afar. We waited for the sun to go down at around 4:45 p.m. My hubby said that the sunset has something to do with what he's experimenting.

As for the post title, I can't think of any but just got idea from what we saw in the place. The sunset, blue sky, gravel, soil, grass and rock made up the title.

Wedge Sandal: Bottero

Did I mention that the place was just along the side of the road? When hubby started clicking and directing, we got attention from some passers. Some stopped by and stared. Then I realized I wasn't in the Metro. What we're doing along side was totally unusual to them. I started to move uncomfortably. I noticed also that hubby cannot concentrate because of the annoying stares they've thrown on us. So, after taking enough quick shots, we immediately got back to our car and went home to my Mom's.

Advance Happy New Year to all!

Outfit: The Farm Life

I love the laid-back life in Tagaytay.

Right outside our villa resort, there's a small pineapple plantation. My hubby brought me outside and we did a photoshoot along the very narrow road. I gladly agreed, of course. I've had applied sunblock in my face anyway.

I love you. :)

Uphill walking...

The water was cold.

We celebrated Valentines in a laid-back style. It was really relaxing yet romantic. We heard chicken crows and birds tweeting everywhere. Reminds me of farm life when I was young and living with my father in the farm. I really missed the farm life.

Soon enough and we packed going back to Manila - the reality. We stopped over in Nuvali in Sta. Rosa Laguna. After eating lunch, we spent a little more time around the area.

That's it. Until my next post.

Look of the Day: V-Date in Tagaytay

It's been a month since I last posted. A lot of things have been occupying me lately. I've been very busy with work and other stuffs. Anyway, I had a break and had a stress-free day with my hubby even the Valentines Day fell on a working day. While most of the people are working, I and hubby celebrated the Heart's Day in the 2nd Summer Capital of our country - Tagaytay.

Tagaytay City can be cold more than you expected sometimes. Though it is nice to feel the cold breeze hugging your face and body; it could be freezing sometimes. A scarf will always be a savior at times. This is what I wore in the morning going to Tagaytay. For me, there is nothing comfy than wearing a shorts or jumpsuits. We reached there at 7:30 am and the fog was at its thickest especially in Tagaytay's highest peak - the People's Park in the Sky.

with the hubby...

We settled in our resort villa after sight seeing from the nearby places. I changed my outfit for dinner time and my hubby did a practice shooting again around the resort. There are only few guests so it's like we owned the resort that time (camera clicks everywhere). :)

By the way, it was damn cold when dusk finally took place. I've had my dress top with a jacket when we dined at the resort's restaurant.

That's it. Until my next post.
