Still in: sandalele gladiator

Sandalele gladiator fac parte si in sezonul primavara/vara 2010 din incaltamintea must-have.
Esentiale pentru lunile calde, sandalele cu multe barete sunt in picioarele tuturor celebritatilor trend-setter si, dupa cum declara renumita stilista Rachel Zoe - "every girl needs at least one pair of striking gladiator sandals in her repertoire.
Pentru un stil relaxat ea recomanda purtatea lor cu o camasa alba si pantaloni kaki cu tivul indoit sau cu o rochie maxi si jacheta din denim.

Nail Art Of The Week: White Calachuchi Nail Art

Well, today, as I've promised, I will post the tutorial of my new nail art of the week (NOTW) - the White Calachuchi inspired.

To start with, you will just need the following:

  • L.A. Colors - Color Craze in Atomic or any regular nail polish with similar color;
  • BOBBIE Regular in Pure White or any regular White nail polish;
  • L.A. Colors Art Deco in Yellow or any regular Yellow nail polish;
  • Caronia - Fast Dry top coat or any top coat of your choice;
  • a toothpick;
  • a CD or any non-absorbing flat surface ; and
  • a needle or aspili.
*Remember beauties, that you can choose a color of your choice in making this nail art.
Okay, so here's the step-by-step in achieving the White Calachuchi-inspired nail art:

Step 1: Apply the L.A. Colors - Color Craze in Atomic onto nails. Apply 2 coats.

Step 2: Put a 2-3 drops of the BOBBIE Regular in Pure White onto the CD. Then, using the toothpick, dip it onto Pure White and dot it onto nails. Make 5 dots.

Step 3: Using the needle or aspili, feather each dots to the center to create a White Calachuchi flower.

Step 4: Using the L.A. Colors Art Deco in Yellow, put 1 dot to each flower you created for a nice flower bud or use the toothpick (refer to Step 2).

Step 5: Of course, you have to protect your work of art! Lastly, apply a top coat. I used Caronia fast-dry top coat. Then, after it dries up, don't forget to clean the edges of the nails for a neat-finished look.

Of course, don't forget your toes!

So, there you go... the White Calachuchi nail art. Isn't it so easy? Making this kind of nail art doesn't require you to buy new tools. Whatever nail polishes you have available as of the moment, you can use it to make this work of art, too!

Go beauties! This is so puurrfect for summer!

Nail Art Addiction

Since I am still on hype about my newly bought L.A. Colors nail polishes, I went GaGa over doing nail arts up to this moment. Since yesterday, I've been making a lot of nail art designs to my nails.

Warning: Pictures ahead!

I like this color because it’s like a natural color of my nails when applied. I used it as base coat before the French tip. You can make a tiny French tip if you want using the tiny nail brush pen of Art Deco. You can stop here...

... but then I went further so I created a flower.

Here, I used the L.A. Art Deco:
  • first, put 5 dots to make a flower using White Art Deco
  • second, put 1 dot in the center of the flower using Pink Art Deco
  • lastly, apply over the whole flower using Gold glitter Art Deco
Haha... Look at my toes. May naiba ba?

And next, I erased again the nail art and tried other design.

Here, I used Art Deco in Purple. I just make a big dot then, 3 tiny dots to create a little animal foot print.

Oh, kind of messy. I need more practice.

I am so excited with my new nail art tools. This is very different from my Stamping Nail Art by KONAD because using the Art Deco with such tiny brush is really a work of art. Using nail art brushes is really, really fun. I can make any designs that I want. I admit, this is much fun compared to Stamping Nail Art BUT it's NOT EASY to do though. You should get a lot of practice first. That's why, see the nail arts I've done? So so basic. Hehehe

I hope you enjoyed reading about my nail art addiction.
